The new VitalSource ebooks make it super easy for students to read the contents of the book, search for specific topics, and even highlight content for reviewing.  We love our ebooks and know you will too!

  • Navigation:  Some books allow you to scroll from top to bottom through the book, while others allow you to flip the pages by clicking the right or left arrows on the side of the book.
  • Search:  The magnifying glass allows you to search the entire book for a specific topic or phrase.
  • The contents icon (three stacked lines that look like a hamburger) allow you to easily jump from chapter to chapter.
  • Select important content within the book to highlight and add your own personalized notes.  You can view all your notes by clicking on the notebook icon.  The highlighting option also allows you to create flashcards to use at a later time.
  • Use the Labs icon (the bottle) to listen to the content rather than reading it – simply select the material and click “read aloud”.
Remember, Wikipedia and Investopedia are not scholarly resources (not written by experts), so these resources should never be used for academic research! They are there to provide background information on words or topics you might not understand.
