How do I find articles on government subsidies and technical education?

 

First go to the library’s website: http://bethelu.libguides.com/cps 

Under the Expert Information heading, you'll see a list of links, choose Gale Virtual Reference Library

Once you've logged in, you'll see a search box, enter "subsidies" into the search box.

Several results will appear, click "Subsidies in the Gale Encyclopedia of U.S. Economic History".

This article will give you a great introduction to subsidies.

To get the APA citation, look towards the top right of the page and click Citation Tools, then choose APA.

 

To learn more about loans/grants for technical schools, follow these steps: Go to the library’s website: http://bethelu.libguides.com/cps 

In the EBSCO search box enter: "Vocational schools" then click Search

Once you’ve logged in, you'll see a list of results.

In the first search box you'll see "Vocational schools" in the box next to it click Select A Field (Optional) and choose SU Subject Terms.

In the second empty search box enter: "financial aid" in the box next to it click Select A Field (Optional) and choose SU Subject Terms then click Search and you will see some great articles!

If you see a title that looks good, click on the title to learn more.

After you click on the title, look to the far left and you will see PDF Full Text. Follow that link to read the whole article.

To get the APA reference, when you’re looking at the full article, there will be a list of Tools on the right. The fourth one down is a little yellow piece of paper, click it and the APA reference will appear. You can cut and paste this citation right to your bibliography.
